We understand that during the busy season it is hard to have professional repair inspections for your Bobcat machine. However, we have three maintenance tips that you can do on your own to ensure that your machine runs as smooth and as powerful as when you first bought it. Making time for daily maintenance is worth every penny and will extend the life of your Bobcat machine.
The great thing about Bobcat skid-steer loaders is that they have the industry’s most convenient access points to engine components. This allows for the daily maintenance we recommend to go as quickly as possible. Here are three tips to implement daily when using a Bobcat skid-steer loader.
- One-side serviceability – Main daily inspections can be easily accessed thanks to the swing-open tailgate and mounted engine. These components will allow you to check engine fluids, filters, examine the air cleaner, inspect the battery and more.
- Easy tip up cabs – By removing two nuts and tipping the cab, you will be able to access both the hydraulic and hydrostatic components for daily inspection.
- Check daily how the oil cooler and radiator are looking as keeping these clean is important for optimal usage.
